The production index price for the manufacturing industries besides oil refinery, registered a 0.2% rise during the month of May 2016 compared to April 2016. This rise is the result of many factors. First the rise in the Food processing industry by 0.7%. Then the decrease registered in the manufacturing of other non-metallic mineral products, and finally, the manufacturing of IT, electronic and optical products by 0.3% and the manufacturing of electric equipment by 0.2%. Furthermore, there was a stagnation in the index prices during the month of May 2016 in the mining industry for production and distribution of electricity and water.
