Yesterday, Morocco deposited its instruments of ratification on the occasion of the Special Event of the UN General Secretariat on the ratification of the Paris Agreement. It also organized its second side event with a theme on energy efficiency.
Today, the 3rd and 4th Side Events will take place, on the innovative financing of adaptation (from 14h) and on Adaptation to climate change in vulnerable States (from 15h).
Two press conferences; Specialized press and the American media will also be organized. The first, beginning at 10 am, will bring together the President of COP22, Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, and the COP22 Steering Committee. The second is a joint press conference between Morocco and Rwanda, and starts at 16h. It will involve madam Hakima El Haite.
