The ministers of foreign affairs of Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries, accepted in Vientiane Laos the integration of Morocco in the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (TAC) of the association. Note that the integration to TAC and comparison to ASEAN is part of King Mohammed VI’s vision to diversify Morocco’s partners and promote the south-south cooperation and peace and tolerance values. Morocco is the first African and Arab nation to join this treaty and join the five permanent member countries of the Security council, EU, Japan, India, Canada, South Korea, Australia and Brazil.
