LG cooperates with Amazon, the largest electronics retailer in the world, to boost sales of “smart home” products. With a strategy of Open Partnership, Open Platform and Open connectivity in the field of Internet of Things (IOT), LG is aiming to showcase smart technology that should actively monitor consumer usage patterns and provide optimal solutions to meet the different lifestyles of users.
With this agreement of cooperation, SmartThinQ Hub LG is now compatible with the Amazon Alexa thus allowing users to control LG connected home appliances using voice without a smartphone. “collaboration with leaders in the innovative industry is our core strategy to solutions for LG smart home and make it even more accessible and convenient for consumers,” said Jo Seong-jin, president of LG Electronics and Home Appliance & Air Solutions Company.
