The private sector would have at the moment we put in the press, confirmed their commitment to deposit 50MDH for the COP22 budget that is fixed at 200MDH.
16 enterprises have responded at the moment to the contribution call for the organisation of COP22 with an objective of 200 million. Different levels of commitments are possible in order to have a privileged status. 25 million DHS for premium partners and between 1 MDH and 5 MDH for official partners. This contribution can be offered in terms of services. Waiting for the rate of contribution to increase, the COP22 committee is acting on other areas. Several sources of finance exist, among which is the renting stands Bablghli, whether for the blue zone or innovation zone, the renting of grounds is fixed at 500 Euros/m² on the ground, without layout (partions, doors, roof, furniture), as stated in the COP22 website. The total budget is estimated at 800-850 million dhs. 300 million dhs was given from the government budget, 200 MDH expected from the private sector and the rest from foreign funds. During a meeting in April, some international organization promised to donate (2 million Euros given by the EU who can give a supplementary 5 million Euros, 450 000 dollars by FIDA and 2 million euros by PNUD if the discussions succeeds).
