For the fifth consecutive year, OLED TV from LG Electronics (LG) was named Best Premium TV by the European Association of image and sound (EISA or European Imaging and Sound Association). The EISA awards are presented annually by a panel of experts from 50 multimedia magazines from over 20 European countries, which assess technological capabilities, design and product innovation.
The LG OLED TV SIGNATURE (Model 65G6), which received the award for best European premium TV, has been cited as a product developed under “the rules of art.” The judges “were facinated by its ability to provide a perfect black and incredible image and also by its complete HDR compatibility (High Dynamic Range), with the HDR 10 and Dolby Vision,” declared the LG side.
On this occasion, Brian Kwon, president of LG Home Entertainment Company of LG Electronics said that: “We are honored to receive the highest award from EISA for the fifth consecutive year, every price is just as rewarding than the last. ” He added: “This recognition confirms what we believe: the LG OLED TV SIGNATURE is a remarkable work of engineering leader with images of breathtaking quality and revolutionary design.”
Regarding other consecrations, the SUPER UHD TV LG UH770V was awarded the prize for best European connected TV (European Smart TV). The LG mobile department also received an award for its G5 LG smartphone which was awarded the European mobile innovation award (European Mobile Innovation Award) for its modular design and all-metal single box.
