Embraer, you certainly know it! It is a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer that is currently prospecting in Morocco.
In its line of sight, 25 Moroccan aeronautical subcontractors.
It’s combing them in order to integrate them in its value chain, said the pan-African magazine Jeune Afrique.
If all goes well, some of their parts will be incorporated into its devices, including those made in its Portuguese factory Evora.
Anyway, Embraer receives support from the Moroccan authorities and several companies operating in the Kingdom, like national carrier Royal Air Maroc, without forgetting the French group Safran, which is on the list of suppliers of the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer.
Besides, its Moroccan subsidiary is chaired by Hamid El Benbrahim Andaloussi, who is none other than the President of the Association of Moroccan Aeronautical and Space Industries (Gimas).
According to the same source, a representation of Embraer should be going in April to Morocco.
