Almonds represent one the main fruits crops in Morocco. This category was in the of the Maroc Vert Plan. The budget designated for this project, being part of the promotion program of almonds in Tiznit province is about 46 million dirhams for a period of 4 years according provincial agricultural board. This project adopted by the Professional Federation of Almond Producers in Tafraout-Anezi zones, spreads over a surface of 6000 hectares, divided in the 8 territorial communities of the province with a total of 7300 beneficiaries. It aims at putting into place a number of objectives like the creation of typical farms, training of farmers, valuing of almond products, land development, improving and diversification of revenue or almond plantation restructuring, indicates a report from the provincial agricultural board.

Drip irrigation saves land
